Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...

DH saw this Christmas tree and he dragged me into the shop yesterday. It caught my attention immediately. We already have one Christmas tree at home but I can't let this one go .... lol..
This year I have a color- theme for our Christmas tree. I didn't use multi color ornaments. This year is all white lights and purple-silver ornaments.

Mad about sugar paste

What is sugar paste??

Sugar paste is used for making all kinds of fancy and edible decorations, such as flowers, ribbons, bows, leaves, and it can be molded into figurines, trees, and animals too. Sugar paste or gum paste is really a pliable "sugar dough". It can be tinted, painted on or dusted with decorating dusts.

I did my own sugar paste and I sometimes used them as a toppers on my cupcakes.



I have just finished making a total of 750 pieces of sugar paste flower for someone.

Deepavali is just around the corner. Traditionally, no celebration is complete without a cake so last saturday sis and I baked carrot cheese cake. Dearest sister and hubby went back to Seremban this morning and she brought along the cake with her, Carrot Cheese Cake for Deepavali! yay..
this cake weighed almost 2.5kilos.. (i'm drooling over this picture.. tapun-tapun)
